Urmo Aava is Estonia's leading professional rally driver. In 2009 he will compete for Stobart VK M-Sport Ford Rally Team in the FIA World Rally Championship.

Career summary:

• Contested 10 rounds of 2008 WRC in Citroen C4 WRC under 'World Rally Team Estonia' banner - including career-best fourth place on the Acropolis Rally.
• Contested three rallies in a WRC class Mitsubishi Lancer in 2007 - finishing seventh overall in Finland and eighth on the model's final WRC appearance in New Zealand.
• Won two J-WRC events; Turkey in 2006 and Sardinia in 2007 and finished second in the series in 2006 and 2007.
• Joined Suzuki's Junior World Rally Team in 2003.
• Made first WRC appearance in 2002 at Rally Finland.
