Hi everybody
It’s been a mammoth flight but finally we are here in New Zealand for what is one of my favourite events in the WRC. The camber of these fast flowing roads makes it such a fun event and the high speeds is another reason it feels awesome to drive down here. We arrived on Saturday after an epic 18 hour flight from Dubai to Melbourne and then to Hamilton so it was straight out to dinner with a Ford guys to get acclimatised ahead of the event this weekend. It is a great place New Zealand but at the moment the weather is looking ominous and there is a fair bit of standing water because of the heavy rains in Hamilton over the last two months! Anyway that’s one thing we cannot control so the plan is to get out there and look to set some solid times. A top-six finish here would be a fantastic finishing position for us.
