Hi again
Well the start last night was really something special and the amount of people up there was incredible! Lucky we had our own police escort to drive out of the city. Yesterday we had a fairly good test of the car at shakedown and despite the dust it went well for both Matt and I. Friday is the real start though so hopefully we will be on the gas from the word go. Tomorrow (Friday) is actually the shortest leg of the rally but there is a stage called Psatha which is extremely rough, and fast, and runs just under 18 kilometres in length. It was great to see all the Stobart and Ford supporters at the autograph session tonight – I hope everyone there had a great time too! We’ve just been for a bite to eat at the restaurant, a light pasta before day 1 never goes astray, and now I’m off to polish the notes for the morning.
