Well here we are, finally at my home event and I cannot wait to start it! I have had some good results here in the past, especially in the GpN car, but now it is time for me to get on the WRC podium in Italy. Sardinia is such a beautiful island and a great place to hold the rally. I am heading out there today for a bit of a holiday and some swimming in the clear blue Mediterranean Sea. I know this event is not going to be easy as it is very technical and can be quite rough in places, but we will try our best for a podium spot. Jordan stared off slow but we picked up the pace and the car felt perfect when we won those stages on Saturday. I can’t wait to eat the food in Sardinia it is very tasty and the island is said to have some of the best Olive Oil in the world! Some plain pasta and Olive Oil is my favourite for lunch!
Well I have to board my plane now so I will see you all in Sardinia :)
