In 2009 Martin will sit alongside Matthew Wilson as they tackle a full FIA World Rally Championship campaign in the Stobart VK M-Sport Ford Rally Team using the 08 evolution of the record-breaking Ford Focus RS WRC, with continued backing from the UK-based Stobart Group.

Career summary:

• First full year in WRC with Matthew Wilson in 2008. Six points finishes – including an overall fifth-place in Jordan.
• Won five consecutive rounds of the Fiesta SportingTrophy International series to become the 2007 champion co-driver. Also contested the Production World Rally Championship with Mark Higgins, finishing the year third in the championship.
• 2006 finished third in the BRC's S1600 class with Scotsman Barry Clark and finished third in the Fiesta SportingTrophy International series. Was selected for the prestigious MSA British Rally Elite scheme for aspiring young British competitors.
• Full campaign in the British Rally Championship with Matthew Wilson, finishing second overall co-driver in 2004.
