Menkerud will renew his partnership with Henning Solberg for 2009 in the Stobart VK M-Sport Ford Rally Team as they contest a full FIA World Rally Championship campaign.

Career summary:

• Once again joined Henning Solberg for full season in the 2008 WRC. Scored strong points finishes in Mexico, Jordan, Turkey and Finland.
• Achieved equal best WRC result in 2007 with Solberg, 3rd on Rally Norway and again in Japan, claiming third career podium finish.
• Contested 12 WRC events for the OMV Peugeot Norway team with Solberg in 2006. Scored first WRC podium in Turkey and finished eighth overall in the championship.
• Took part in seven WRC events with Henning Solberg in 2005 using Ford Focus WRC. Finished 14th in championship.
• First WRC event at Swedish Rally in 1994 with Helge Menkerud.
